January will be a month dedicated to knowledge‑sharing across Italy as well: AVPN will take the stage at SIGEP World, the Rimini event that has long been one of the Association’s most important opportunities for dialogue and networking.
From January 16 to 20, Stand 52 – Hall B8 at the Rimini Expo Centre will host AVPN master pizzaioli engaged in talks and technical workshops that combine training moments with an in‑depth look at the state of the sector. From the evolution of the pizzaiolo profession, featuring master Franco Pepe, to the new marketing dynamics linked to pizza with master pizzaiolo Renato Bosco—both hosted in the Pizza Arena—followed by an exploration of the new frontiers of Neapolitan pizza focused on India, this year’s guest country at Sigep, presented on the main stage of Vision Plaza.
There will also be space for the stories of pizzaioli and a focus on new consumption trends, supported by insights from the Socio‑Economic Observatory, presented in Rome on Friday the 16th in collaboration with CNR, FIPE Campania and the University of Naples Parthenope.
Among the most anticipated moments is the “100% Campania Neapolitan Pizza” focus scheduled for January 19: an entire day dedicated to the region’s excellence supply chain, featuring journalists and industry experts in dialogue with master pizzaioli to reaffirm the importance of choosing high‑quality local ingredients and remaining faithful to Neapolitan tradition—elements that make Neapolitan pizza a cultural heritage even before a gastronomic one.
